Mission Statement
Morning Star Institutional Church Of God In Christ has been organized and called by God to be a ministry to proclaim the Gospel with love and concern for our fellow man. To preach the gospel with power and signs and wonders following, to minister to the whole man, Spiritually, Mentally, Physically, Economically and Socially.
For this cause, God has annointed this ministry "The Church Where The Spirit Of God Dwells". To proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, which is "Good News" to the lost and unsaved, and encourage them to accept the Lord Jesus as savior by faith through Grace and identify with the local assembly (preferably this one). To make disciples by teaching of God's word, nurturing and training the believers for the work of the ministry, encouraging love for the written word. To encourage members to develop a prayer ministry, private, congregational,and intercessory. To encourage the manisfestation and demonstration of the Gifts and Fruits of the Spirit. To demonstrate Christ in our conduct and services to the community and world,ministering to the whole man.
To come together to worship God in Spirit and Truth, Praise, Preaching and Magnifying Him. To encourage family unity and discourage the devisive power of Satan. To demonstrate Brotherly Love in Action.
