-Morning Star Institutional Church Of God In Christ has been organized and called by God to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ with love and concern for our fellow man.
-At Morning Star the Word is preached with power, to minister to the whole man: spiritually, mentally, physically, economically and socially. For this cause, God has annointed this ministry to proclaim the "good news" to the lost and unsaved, encourage them to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior (by faith, through Grace), and to identify with a local assembly (preferably this one).
-At Morning Star we make men and women into disciples by the teaching of God's Word, the nurturing and training of the believers for the work of the ministry, and stressing the importance of the written word. To accomplish this we encourage members to develop a personal prayer ministry (both private, congregational, and intercessory). We encourage the manifestation and demonstration of the Gifts and Fruits of the Spirit.
-Morning Star demonstrates Christ in our conduct, and in our mission and evangelistic service to the community and to the world, ministering to the whole man.
-Morning Star believes in coming together to worship God in spirit and in truth, praise, preaching and magnifying God. We encourage family unity and discourage the devisive power of Satan by demonstrating brotherly love in action.
